The Department of Public Health is part of the School of Medicine of Shihezi University.
Shihezi University is a comprehensive university located in Shihezi City, Xinjiang Autonomous Uygur Region, approximately 150 kilometers from Urumqi. Founded as Shihezi Medical College in 1949, it now covers ten faculties: Agriculture, Medicine, Engineering, Economy and Trade, Management, the Arts, Education, Law, and History. It has 20 colleges and three key laboratories supported by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
